Who am I

Girl behind the blog

Ananda is the wife and mother in her household of dirty dishes and mounting washing (which frequently pops up on social media). In her waking hours, she’s homeschool mother to 2 sons and part time bookkeeper to 2 companies.

At night time you will find her cleaning, exercising and writing. As of this year, she also started her journey to becoming a public speaker at the Dainfern Tigers Toastmasters club. A dreadfully frightening prospect.

Anne C West is the writer of short stories in any given genre. Especially the retelling of people from days gone by and what they got up to when left unsupervised.  They might or might no find their way to a page on this space in the near future… She self-published 2 of her short stories in 2016 on Amazon. Currently, she is working on her YA Guardians and Assassins: Gabriel and her first script called Imaginasia. Somewhere in a drawer, she has 3 children’s picture books that will be finding their way to a publisher seeing the hidden talent in it… Every now and again she publishes an article on LinkedIn and will link to it on her page My Stories. Feel free to say your say about it.

She dreams of travelling the world, learning about people in their different cultures, living their everyday lives and visiting the sights and scenery that locals have grown blaze to.

At some point in time, she studied towards a degree in English and Linguistics as majors but failed miserably to balance everyday life with studying. She did, however, complete her Creative Writing course through The Writers Bureau.

Social Media Presence

You can find her on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Goodreads and Amazon.

What she will be writing about

If you have a book coming out, please email her the details or media pack that you’ve prepared for launch day to west dot anne dot c at gmail dot com. She would love to feature one launch a month.

From time to time she will share her opinion on a book worth reading and share some review of a place she got to visit near her home.

Lastly, she will bore you with the links to articles she found interesting in her obsessive reading habits throughout the week in the Bookish Links and Non-bookish Links posts.

Thank you for taking the time to say halo.
